Meet Leah!

Leah began her professional journey in the wine industry while working at a steakhouse during her university years, developing a deep appreciation for the art of pairing fine wines and beverages with exceptional cuisine. Transitioning after school to the sales side of the wine industry, she worked with leading distribution companies, and in 2017 had the opportunity to partner in the development of a new retail store, marking the beginning of her entrepreneurial path.

In 2019, Leah was able to expand her retail venture to Penticton, rebranding Martin Street Liquor Merchants, (formerly Clancy’s Liquor Store) to reflect a more refined approach to wine selection and customer experience. Holding a WSET Level 3 certification and a certified Sommelier through the Wine Scholar Guild, she is committed to providing the highest level of service and expertise possible in the wine industry.

Born and raised in Prince George and a long-time Okanagan resident, Leah’s passion for community and engagement is evident in her carefree nature and ready smile. Find her engaged in activities with her 2 little girls and spending as much time possible living that lake life and visiting our local vineyards.
